Jason Lewis’s experience in both state and federal courts relates primarily to representation of individuals, businesses, and medical professionals in civil actions. Mr. Lewis also represents governmental entities in employment discrimination, civil rights, and general liability actions.
Mr. Lewis’ professional involvement includes membership in the Macon Bar Association, William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court, the American Bar Association, and Defense Research Institute. Mr. Lewis serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.
Mr. Lewis was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2006. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and in the State and Superior Courts of Georgia.
Mr. Lewis graduated cum laude with a B.A. in History and a minor in Chemistry from Mercer University (2000) and magna cum laude with a J.D. from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law (2006). In law school, he was a member of the Mercer Law Review and served as the Student Writing Editor. He also participated as a member of the Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Team and was a member of Brainerd F. Currie Honor Society.
